Personnel

Lawrence D. Bain: CEO

Lawrence D. Bain was appointed as the IMH Financial Corporation’s new Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors in July 2014. Since 2009, Mr. Bain has served as a strategic consultant to the company and provided the company with services related to asset management and disposition as well as loan underwriting. During the period of his consultancy, Mr. Bain has also served as Managing Partner of ITH Partners, LLC, a private equity firm. Mr. Bain brings significant operating and board experience gained in roles as a Chief Executive officer and Chairman over the last fifteen years. From 2000 to 2009, Mr. Bain served as CEO for True North Advisors, LLC (a private equity investment fund and an affiliate of the private equity firm True North Partners, LLC). From 2004 to 2009, Mr. Bain served as CEO of ProLink Solutions, LLC which designs, manufactures, maintains and sells global positioning satellite golf course management systems and software to golf course owners and operators worldwide. Mr. Bain spend approximately 20 years in the securities industry holding Managing Director positions at Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc., Everen Securities, Dean Witter and EF Hutton. Mr. Bain is a graduate of the Ohio State University and attended the Securities Industry Executive Program at The Wharton School. In addition to his other duties, Mr. Bain serves as the Chair of the Investment Committee at IMH Financial Corporation.

Greg Hanss: SVP & Director of Operations

Greg Hanss is Senior Vice President and Director of Operations at IMH Financial Corporation. He oversees the day-to-day operations and performance of all of IMH’s operating assets. Mr. Hanss is well-known in the hospitality industry for his many accomplishments spearheading luxury hotel and resort openings, structuring effective leadership teams and developing and sustaining profitable assets. Prior to joining IMH Financial Corporation, Mr. Hanss served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MetWest Terra Hospitality, which boasts a dynamic collection of eight hotels nationwide. Greg played a leading role in launching the award-winning InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley, Arizona, most recently as Managing Director. The successful opening earned Greg American Hotel & Lodging’s Manager of the Year award for 2010. He was also a member of the opening teams other iconic properties including- the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale, and The Phoenician and St. Regis in Aspen. Greg is a graduate of Gonzaga University with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Public Relations.

Cori Oles: Director of Revenue Management

Cori Oles is the Director of Revenue Management at IMH Financial Corporation and oversees hotel pricing and distribution management of inventory across various channels for all of IMH’s operating assets. She brings 25 years of hospitality and revenue management to her current role, where her main focus is on maximizing top line revenues across all of the properties owned and operated by IMH. Ms. Oles manages and maintains inventory controls, while analyzing group and transient market segments for occupancy, rates and booking trends. She joined L’Auberge de Sedona in 2014 as Director of Rooms where she currently leads the daily operations and training of the revenue, reservations, front office and rooms departments, all while implementing Forbes Five Star standards across the property’s rooms division. Prior to joining L’Auberge de Sedona, Ms. Oles held leadership roles at notable hotels and resorts including Twin Arrows, Enchantment Resort, The Canyons, The Modern Honolulu and Royal Kona. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and received the Advanced Hospitality Revenue Management Certificate from Cornell University.

Tina Littleman: Director of Human Resources

Tina Littleman was appointed Director of Human Resources with IMH Financial Corporation in June 2015. Mrs. Littleman’s oversight is driving growth through effective Human Resources and people strategy through planning, staffing, talent management and succession processes, as well as compensation and benefits, employee relations, leadership development and training. Prior to joining IMH Financial Corporation, Mrs. Littleman brings 30 years of Human Resources experience with luxury hotels and resorts to include L’Auberge de Sedona, Hotel Bel-Air and Jefferson Hotel. Mrs. Littleman is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (BS), an active member of SHRM.

Jonathan Brohard: EVP & General Counsel

Jonathan Brohard has served as Executive Vice President & General Counsel at IMH Financial Corporation since January 2015. Mr. Brohard also serves as the company’s Chief Compliance Officer, Director of Human Resources and Corporate Secretary. From July 2011 until joining the IMH team in January 2015, Mr. Brohard was an equity shareholder at Polsinelli, PC, a national AmLaw 100 law firm, where he focused his practice on advising clients with respect to real estate acquisitions and real estate development matters, complex financing structures, including institutional debt and equity, private equity, joint ventures and syndications. Previously, from January 2010 to July 2011, Mr. Brohard served in various executive positions with American Spectrum Realty Management, a real estate investment and management company with more than 135 properties located across 22 states and more than 240 employees. From 2004 until 2010, Mr. Brohard also served as Executive Vice President of Atherton-Newport Investments, LLC, a real estate investment firm. Mr. Brohard received his B.S. in Finance, summa cum laude, at West Virginia University, and his law degree from the University of Virginia.

Sam Montes: CFO

Mr. Montes joined IMH in April 2007 and since that time has served in the various capacities of Controller, Director of Financial Reporting and Compliance, Vice President of Finance and, most recently, Senior Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining IMH, Mr. Montes served as Senior Financial Analyst from September 2005 through March 2007 for Picerne Real Estate Group, a privately-owned, national real estate developer and manager of multi-family residential housing. From November 2004 through August 2005, Mr. Montes served as the Director of Finance for Childhelp USA, a national not-for-profit organization. Mr. Montes’ prior experience includes over 13 years with international public accounting firms, where he specialized in real estate, gaming and public sector clients. Mr. Montes has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, primarily in the real estate industry. Mr. Montes graduated from California State University of Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting.

Justin Bain: Director of Marketing / Brand Management

Justin comes to IMH as an integrated marketing expert with over 10 years of experience transforming brands, growing businesses and in general, making people’s lives better. He practices under the theory that all parts of the marketing machine are interconnected, and takes a holistic approach by fusing PR, social, digital, and traditional media together to create stories that matter. He was a cofounder of the most reputable boutique management firm that bridges the gap between the most elite production companies, agencies, and brands. He has produced projects for Google, Apple, Nike, and Facebook and has worked with agencies such as Chiat Day, Saatchi and Saatchi, 72andSunny amongst others. In totality, the projects that he has been involved with have been awarded the industry’s highest marks including Emmy’s, Cannes Lions, Clio’s and Webby’s.

Jay A. Wolf, Juniper Capital: IMH Board Director and Consultant

Jay A. Wolf is currently a Managing Member of Juniper. Juniper typically has an active advisory role in its portfolio of private equity and real estate investments. Prior to Juniper, Mr. Wolf was a partner at Trinad Capital Management LLC, the manager of an activist hedge fund primarily focused on distressed small-cap public companies. During his work at Trinad, Mr. Wolf assisted portfolio companies through board participation, the assemblage of management teams and actively worked to set the business and financial strategies of these companies. Prior to his work at Trinad, Mr. Wolf served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for Wolf Group Integrated Communications Ltd. Mr. Wolf began his career at Canadian Corporate Funding, Ltd. (CCFL Ltd.), a Toronto-based merchant bank as an analyst in the firm’s senior debt department and subsequently for Trillium Growth Capital, the firm’s venture capital fund. Mr. Wolf has served on the boards of several public companies and performed roles that include the head of audit, compensation and special committees and as lead independent director. Mr. Wolf is also a member of the Board of Governors of Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Mr. Wolf will serve on the Investment Committee.

Alex Krys, Juniper Capital; Strategic Consultant

Alex Krys serves as the Managing Partner of Juniper Capital Partners, LLC. Mr. Krys serves as Partner and Senior Advisor of The Americas Group. He served as the President of Diageo’s Venture Markets Americas & Caribbean from 1999 to 2003. In 1996, he joined United Distillers and held several key management positions for the Latin America region, including Marketing Director and External Affairs Director. From 1994 to 1995. Mr. Krys served as the Chief Executive Officer for Ketchum Asociados, an advertising and public relations company. He also served as a partner at Daniels & Roberts from 1995 to 1996, where his advertising and public relations agencies managed a roster of clients such as Microsoft Latin America, Acer Computers, Polaroid Latin America, Sony Consumer Products Latin America, American Express, FedEx, Miller Brewing, Reebok, MCI and Univision Television Network. He has been Director of Zoo Entertainment, Inc. since March 8, 2011 and indiePub Entertainment, Inc. since March 8, 2011. Mr. Krys graduated from Florida International University in 1990 and received a degree in Liberal Arts (Psychology and Marketing). Mr. Krys also attended MIT’s Sloan International Business and Strategy Program in 1997.

Joe Walsh – Director of Development

Joseph Walsh joined IMH in August, 2017 as Vice President of Development to lead the L’Auberge de Sonoma renovation and expansion plans. Mr. Walsh brings over 20 years of hotel and resort development experience, and has successfully managed over $300 million in upscale resort and hotel development projects. Mr. Walsh’s accomplishments include the successful development of Westin Hotels and Resort’s 180- residence Westin Verasa and La Toque restaurant in Napa, CA and the 220-room Westin Monache in Mammoth Lakes, CA, while serving as Regional Vice President of Development for Intrawest Resort Development. Furthermore, he managed the development of Intrawest’s Winter Park, CO base village while overseeing the asset management of their resort hospitality real estate portfolio, including; the 600-residence beachfront Honua Kai Resort and Spa in Maui, HI and their seven ski and warm weather resort commercial villages throughout the U.S., British Colombia, and Ontario. Most recently, while Sr. Vice President Development for Lowe Destination Development, Mr. Walsh managed the design and development of the 220-acre Nelson Preserve and 26-acre Legacy at Suncadia communities and various other development projects for two of their Pacific Northwest resorts. Mr. Walsh is graduate of Miami University, Oxford, OH where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance Major.
